Walking under the walnut trees this time of year is a definite tripping danger (it gives a whole new meaning to "fall") and early this morning I tried to warn a squirrel against hiding his winter stash near the dogs' water dishes.
Our neighborhood crows (yes, more than enough to be a "murder" of crows which is usually considered to be 3 to 15) have discovered that they can reach through the chain-link fence to eat the food intended for the duck and rooster. Nothing to do but provide extra food! The crows help keep the hawks away which is fine with me. . . hawks being beautiful, but deadly for small birds.
We hope your day is going well!
