Yesterday was gray and cloudy, and I was none too happy about having to go to Lowe's to replace our dishwasher that had "died" the day before. But dishwasher purchased and delivery arranged, I decided to walk out through the garden area, and there on the close-out table I found this beautiful vining mandevilla! As all of the remaining plants, it looked droopy and dry and was being sold at a greatly reduced price - it was just waiting for me! Today it's in a sunny spot near the hummingbird* feeders. When the weather gets cold it will come inside, near the parakeets and their full-spectrum light. Hoping there are many bright spots in your day, too! *Yes, we do still have hummingbirds coming to our feeders - females and juveniles who leave later than the males!
